temboz should probably remember when an article was collapsed, so it does not appear open again when the user reloads. This could be treated as an intermediate situation between "up" and "down" status of an article, or as an independent dimension altogether. The first option seems more reasonable, since collapsed is really mostly useful for unread articles.
